Hooked Rugs in the Garden (June 27)
June 27, 4 pm - 8 pm. Hooked Rugs in the Garden. Location: Bittersweet Farm, 30 High St., Gilmanton (Lakes Region) NH. Enjoy a mapped, self-guided wine-and-cheese tour though an 18th century reproduction home with extensive gardens. Over 50 rugs on display both inside and outside. Primitive rug silent auction. RSVP for tickets: $25 each, two for $40; 100 percent of ticket sales donated to Gilmanton Food Pantry and Gilmanton Year-Round Library. The Hancock Woman’s Club invites you to “Visit Hancock Gardens” on Saturday,
July 18 between 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Want to be inspired with fresh ideas for your garden? Or do you need incentive, encouragement and advice for a new garden? The Hancock Woman's Club invites you to "Visit Hancock Gardens.” Eleven lovely unique gardens in both the village and surrounding countryside will be featured. Our committee has lined up eleven gardeners to display their beautiful gardens such as, a Japanese garden, an herbal garden, a pollinating garden and lovely flower gardens.
The tour begins at the Vestry on Main St. in Hancock. The proceeds from this fundraising event will support local charities and the Club's Scholarship Fund.
