Please contact us if you would like to attend this workshop. It will be at a member's home, so we will gladly have you come as a guest of a member.
You need to bring gloves, a trowel, a form to create your planter's shape, a flat board for it to dry on, clothes to get dirty in, smiles and laughter!

Holiday Decorations
for
​Green Arrangements

Decorations Workshop is open to all persons, club members and the public of all ages! We will focus on creating decorations for our greening arrangements to be designed the next weekend, Sat.

As you ready your garden for winter, save your natural seed pods, fronds, red dogwood sticks, dried garden blossoms, pine cones ( less sap the better), moss, the list goes on. Bring anything you wonder about and we will guide you for its use in design.

Holiday Green Arrangements
Make your own or
​purchase custom made

Come to learn how to create your own holiday table arrangements. Bring your favorite container AND a friend!! 
We will advise the advantage and disadvantages of your container's size for your desired design. We have other containers from which to choose.
We will be using fresh NH evergreens and natural decorations to embellish your design. 
We will demonstrate how to change your base design from your 
Thanksgiving table to your December holiday table.
You will learn how to keep your green arrangement fresh from Thanksgiving through the December holidays.

Shieling Forest is on Old Street Rd, just 1/2 mile down from Monadnock Community Hospital. 

From the intersection of Rt 101 & Rt 123, follow blue Hospital sign.
Travel 3 miles straight down Old Street Rd. After the 2nd stop sign,
watch for the Shieling Forest sign on your right.

We meet in the Forestry Learning Center.
